BOKER Daily Knives AK1 Drop Point Mustard Fixed Blade Knife
The Boker Daily Knives AK1, developed in cooperation with the young knifemaker Alex Kremer and Daily Customs, is a versatile small everyday knife that can be perfectly adapted to your own needs. Alex Kremer, born in Fulda in 1993, started making his first knives at the age of 18, and his numerous tours through the vastness of Scandinavia are still a source of inspiration for him today. The AK1 he designed is equipped with a short Drop point blade made of powder metallurgical RWL 34, a high-performance stainless steel which is ice-hardened to 61 to 62 HRC.
The ergonomically shaped and comfortable handle scales are made of durable burlap micarta. They can be easily dismantled using the torx-key provided and can be replaced by a wide range of alternative scales developed and produced in conjunction with Daily Customs. In addition, the intricately manufactured lanyard hole at the end of the handle can be turned around when the handle scales are dismantled so that it disappears into the handle. It is made of RWL 34, just like the complete full tang, with minimal manufacturing tolerances. This means that the knife can be adapted to your own requirements in the shortest possible time and modified according to the situation.
Supplied with a high-quality black leather sheath, which is provided with a sewn-in ulticlip and can be easily attached to the pocket hem thanks to the locking spring clip. The AK1 can thus be pulled effortlessly while the sheath is held in place by the Ulticlip. Handmade in the Boker knife manufactory Solingen.

The history of Boker can be traced back to the 17th century. In the 1800’s the German tool maker was producing swords and other blades for use in the various wars that were going on in Europe at the time. In the1860’s the company had split with part of the family emigrating and setting up factories in America. The German and American factories produced similar products. Both used the “Tree Brand” logo. The “Tree Brand” logo represents the giant chestnut tree that was at the front of the original Boker factory in Remscheid, Germany in the 17th century.
